CyberMedics Launches CMMI-DEV Level 2 Process Maturity Initiative

CyberMedics LLC, a veteran-founded immersive medical intelligence software and systems engineering company supporting U.S. Army research and development programs, today announced the initiation of its Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development (CMMI-DEV) Level 2 process improvement program.

This initiative formalizes CyberMedics’ long-standing commitment to disciplined engineering, measurable quality, and repeatable performance across all contract and internal development activities. CMMI-DEV provides a globally recognized framework that helps organizations establish well-defined, managed, and auditable processes for software and systems engineering.

Through this initiative, CyberMedics is documenting and aligning key operational areas including:

• Requirements Management (REQM)
• Project Planning and Monitoring (PP, PMC)
• Configuration Management (CM)
• Quality Assurance (QA)
• Measurement and Analysis (MA)

The company’s internal teams are conducting baseline assessments, developing process documentation, and integrating continuous-improvement metrics to prepare for a formal Benchmark Appraisal under the CMMI-DEV v2.0 model.

CyberMedics’ adoption of CMMI-DEV Level 2 practices complements its ongoing work under U.S. Army contracts focused on adaptive training technologies, digital-twin simulations, and advanced materials research.
